Children’s Fitness Clubs
for boys and girls 9yrs+ and TEENS
NORTH LONDON: 08:15-09:30 every Saturday during term time – BOOKING REQUIRED
To ensure regular children continue to progress and to support new members appropriately, based on age, skills and experience each child will focus their training where they need it most.
What happens: a mixture of running, walking, jumping, skipping, balancing, core work, toning and strengthening, using body weight resistance. Focus on fun and challenging exercises appropriate for young people, to improve overall fitness, muscle tone, flexibility, stamina and endurance. Including a variety of routines….Ministry of Funny Walks, Bear Crawls, Lastic-Tastic, Mini-Circus, Hedgehog Crunchies, Aeroplanes…and many more light hearted names for seriously hearty hard work!
What it costs: £5 per child, per session. Optional £9.95 for ‘I’m Perfect’ – Fit Perfect Saturday Morning Fitness Club T-Shirt.
What to wear: well fitting trainers, comfortable sports clothing in layers, to allow freedom of movement and easy tying around waist when hot!… and an I’m Perfect Saturday Morning Fitness Club T-Shirt if you have one.
What to bring on the day: small bottle of water

Run/brisk walk from Summerlee Gardens to Highgate Woods. Various stops throughout the woods for exercises and running then collection at drop-off address.
Fit Perfect Saturday Morning Fitness Club fitness goals – ‘Wings’
8 reward goals to be regularly assessed and encouraged to be achieved…Each team member informally assessed, both as an individual and during a team effort. All individual abilities carefully considered.
The next set of ‘Wings’ Goal challenges started on 7th January 2017
- Tree Pooh’s – 2 sets held for 60secs
- Frog Squats with leg raise – 2 sets of 50 reps, using the correct technique
- Flying Hop Lunges – 4 sets of 10 reps, using the correct technique
- T-Rex Sets (chest & arms on TRX) – 6 sets of 10 reps, using the correct technique
- Perfect Push-Ups – min of 4 sets of 10 reps, using the correct technique
- Pistol Dips – 5 sets of 10 reps, using the correct technique
- High Hills – timed, improve on best time
- Sumo Jumps – 10 sets of 10 reps, with energy!
